The most sustainable option for end users once finished with a comPOST Pack is to put it in with their food scraps and garden waste. They will break down within 90* days in a compost environment in a non-toxic process.

comPOST Pack materials have been certified AS 5810-2010 for Home Composting, meaning they will be completely degraded by microorganisms in the natural world under compost conditions. Ultimately this generates carbon dioxide and water and does not pollute the environment.

*The certification requirements are for 95% degradation within 180 days

Home Compostable mailers | Proudly Certified | Bella Bodies Australia

It looks and feels a hellavalot like plastic, but it's not. Not even close. It is a 100% home-compostable shipping mailer and is made from 70-80% PBAT (a co-polymer that is completely compostable) and 20-30% PLA (which is a fancy way of saying cornstarch).

In a commercial compostable environment, it will break-down within 90 days. At home, it may take up to 120 days.

  • International: Home Compostable (EN13432) and Commercially Compostable (EN13432)
