HOW TO LOOK 5 KILOS SLIMMER IN YOUR CLOTHES


We love to dress for our shape but here's some more quick tips for helping us look just a little bit slender in our clothes for those who want to know!

1. MATCH YOUR SEPARATES

Lose 5 kilos by just matching your pants or skirt, stockings and shoes.  Whether it's all black or white.  Is the one-colour thing too tame for your taste? Slip on a pair of bright shoes to shake things up.

2. PROPORTION

Full, round shapes on top and bottom will make you look…full and round. So always accentuate your smallest part by pairing your more generously cut pieces with a snugger mate. Balance a wide leg pants with a fitted shirt, a miniskirt with a longer top, etc.

3.  CHOOSE SHAPELY SKIRTS

The tailored cut of a pencil skirt (we love that it's not skin tight through the hips) makes all bodies look sleek.

4.  SLIP ON A LONG CARDIGAN OR LIGHT OPEN KAFTAN

Waist-length cardigans tend to shorten your body while long, hip-grazing versions make torsos seem long.

5.  DRESS UP JEANS AND TUCK IN THE SHIRT

Ever wonder why you see this look again and again on celebs, in ads, in magazines? Because if done right, it makes every woman look longer and leaner. Most flattering: straight-leg or boot-cut jeans...

6. GRAPHIC PRINTS

Busy patterns can camouflage problem areas by forcing the eye to rove instead of honing  in on one spot. A little secret to help you get it right is to remember that the taller you are, the bigger prints you can wear. Petite ladies should take special  precaution and stick to smaller patterns (like small polka dots as opposed to oversized ones), which are more flattering and won't make you look like your small stature is being consumed

7. WIDE-LEG PANTS WITH PUMPS

I am a huge fan of these as I always feel that the soft floatiness gives me a slimmer look than I am.  When you pair wide leg pants with platforms or pumps it creates the illusion of added height and legs since you can’t see the shoe.Fit is the key of  this style, the pants should gently graze the floor break in the front so you just Be see the tip of the shoe.  Team with a more fitted top to create balance

 8. SHAPEWEAR

Depending on your bust and shoulder size generally,  a V neck tends to bring the eye to the centre and elongate that top front area. If you are small busted with petite shoulders then best a  round or boatneck will actually bulk up the area slightly
